Builder, connector, and community person. 20+ years at the intersection of technology and people.

I've just wrapped up a run at Vantage as a Solutions Architect, where I led enterprise client launches with organizations like Canadian Tire Corporation and El Corte Inglés, taking them from contract signature to fully operational. Good work, interesting people. I'm ready for what's next.

The thread that runs through everything I've done: I'm at my best when I'm connecting people and enabling something to happen between them. That looks different in different contexts: building and shipping products, running a coworking space for nine years, leading AI implementation inside enterprise teams, or organizing the startup community on a train between Toronto and Montreal. The common denominator is people and what they can do together.

I'm looking for roles where that combination matters: either leading AI adoption and enablement at an established company that needs someone to do that from the inside, or community and product leadership at an organization where community is genuinely core. Director, Head, or VP level. Primarily remote, open to Toronto hybrid.

Some of the things I've built and the communities I've helped grow:

2012 – present
20Skaters Hockey
App I founded and built. 10,000+ users, ~$750k in organizer fees collected.
2007 – present
DemoCampGuelph
18+ years, 30+ events. Grassroots tech meetup that helped build Guelph's startup scene.
2011 – 2020
ThreeFortyNine Coworking
Founded before "coworking" was a known concept locally. Nine years, real community.
2010 – present
Ontario Startup Train
Toronto→Montreal Startup Festival. Grew from one chartered VIA Rail car to three, 150+ attendees.
2007 – 2011
BrainPark
Employee #1. Built product and engineering for a $5M-funded enterprise collaboration platform.
2003 – 2017
Band of Coders
Canadian partner for 14 years. Clients included Uber. Expanded to Argentina.
If any of this resonates, whether you have a role in mind, want to think out loud about a problem, or just want to grab coffee, I'd love to hear from you. bg@findbrydon.com  ·  say hello here thanks, brydon
